Called normally Martin, but prefer to use nickname martin29 or MGunawan, I’ve been living on earth for more than 30 years.
Most of my time I spend in Indonesia, because …… I am an Indonesian 
Being born in Jakarta, and ever stayed for 5 years in Semarang during my elementary school time.. then back again to Jakarta, until graduated from my first study in University of Indonesia majoring in Metallurgical Engineering.
Feeling not sufficient just having Bachelor degree, I followed my brother, continuing my study in Germany, precisely in Berlin at Technical University of Berlin. I took Global Production Engineering, a kind of new master degree program, introduced in that university. In Germany at that time, the Anglo Saxong education system like US (Bachelor – Master – Doctor/ PhD) was a new thing. They just have 2 levels of higher education levels: Dipl. -xxx (for engineering, sciences) and M.A. (for arts, education, and other non engineering), then continue to DR. -xxx.
So I spent around 3 years to finish my Master in TU Berlin (actually I chose to get Dipl. -Ing, instead of Master of Engineering.. because only in Germany, you can get Dipl. -Ing).
After finishing it.. I should find a job, right? But the situation was not so good.. couldn’t find a job in Germany.. so I decided to continue another advance study.. Industrial Engineering & Management “Aufbaustudium Wirtschaftsingenieuerwesen” at University of Applied Sciences Berlin.. Two years to finish this program, and by finishing it I hold Dipl. W-Ing (FH) degree.. quiet a long degree, isn’t it?
Tja.. again.. my luck was not there. I couldn’t find a right job… So after 2 months without any answer, where I should work in Germany, I decided to go back to Indonesia.. on 4th Jul 2005 I was on the sky …going back to Jakarta. I was quiet afraid that time, because my plane flew over Arabian countries.. he..he thankfully, the airfreight belongs to one of Arabian country.. So not afraid to get bombed
Just a week arrived in Jakarta, I got interview (the resume was already sent, when I was still in Germany)..,So finally, I worked as Business Analyst in Planning&Monitoring Department in one of biggest animal feed and its derived products company. In 2006, I was just promoted to manager level, but still without staff and own car 
.
And after working for around 2 years in this company, it’s time to expand my horizont by exploring a new challenge. At the end of May 07, a new offering came to me: a position as Quality Assurance in a specialty chemical company. Compared to previous company, it’s just a tiny company, but has more clear job description and responsibility, and is playing in a prospective sector (as its main customers are mining and oil industries). So started mid of Jul, I will move to a new fields, and let’s see what will face me!
